Other active ingredients include:

Geranium Oil which has known antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antiseptic properties and carries a light floral aroma that repels mosquitos, ticks, and other pests effectively. 

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which is sourced from coconut and/or palm kernel oil and allows oil and water to mix and remain stable. (But wait! Isn't SLS dangerous and scary?! Actually, no, it's not! Both the Environmental Working Group and the National Library of Medicine have documented the safety of SLS and of moderately low risk to humans.)

Soybean Oil is a great natural defense against mosquitoes, ticks, flies, and gnats, and it is gentle on skin and is safe for people and pets alike. 

Our Inactive Ingredients

Polyglyceryl Oleate, which comes from blueberries, allows oils and water to remain combined after shaking, acting as an emulsifier.

Sesame Oil, sourced from sesame seeds, enhances the repellency of essential oils.

Sodium Chloride, which is just the fancy name for ordinary table salt, inhibits bacterial growth.

Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate and Citric Acid, both also sourced from corn, function as a pH adjuster. 

Vitamin E, sourced from vegetable oil, is an antioxidant that protects essential oils from oxidizing.
